Motilal Oswal Financial Services: Neutral – Target Price: Rs 418
“Given WPRO’s weak 2QFY24 revenue growth and weak 3Q guidance, we expect its FY24 topline growth to be one of the lowest among Tier-1 IT Services peers, with margin below the management’s medium-term guided range of 17.0-17.5%. We cut our FY24E/FY25E EPS by 8.2%/5.0% to factor in weaker FY24 growth. We maintain our Neutral rating as we await: further evidence of the execution of WPRO’s refreshed strategy, and a successful turnaround from its struggles over the last decade before turning more constructive on the stock. Our Target Price of Rs 418 implies 18x FY25E EPS.”

“Wipro is investing in technology infrastructure, optimizing operations, and enhancing delivery to foster profitable growth. The company is focused on training and upskilling the workforce to prepare them for an AI-driven future. The investments in the AI360 strategy are yielding substantial efficiencies across the organization. The company is confident that these investments will bolster its resilience and competitiveness in the ever-changing business and economic landscape. We have introduced FY26E and expect Wipro to deliver a Revenue/EBIT/PAT CAGR of 4%/9%/9% respectively over FY23-FY26E. We upgrade our rating to ‘Add’ with a revised Target Price of Rs 445, implying a 16.5x (unchanged) PE on FY26E EPS of Rs 27.

JM Financial: Buy – Target Price: 450
“We lower Wipro’s FY24-26E USD revenue by 4-5% and EPS by 3-6% as we build a weaker than expected near-term growth outlook. That said, Wipro– owing to higher consulting/BFS exposure – could be first off the block when demand turns. Besides, an undemanding valuation (16x FY25E EPS) is in its favour. We therefore remain constructive, though are cognizant of lack of immediate triggers. Maintain ‘Buy’ with an unchanged Target Price of Rs 450.

Over 300,000 eager players rushed to play Last Epoch when it launched last week and the servers quickly collapsed under the weight. The widespread connection issues that followed led to a slew of negative Steam reviews that knocked its “mostly positive” rating down to “mixed”.
The worst of those issues now seem to be over, but the initial reactions still sit permanently on the game’s Steam page. In a post reflecting on the launch yesterday, game director Judd Cobler seems confident the team can turn the sentiment around.
“While we’re continuing to receive high praise about the game itself, Steam reviews and sentiment took a heavy hit due to the initial turbulence of online services at launch,” Cobler wrote. “We are committed to regaining that trust by making improvements to our backend infrastructure for this amount of load and providing a great experience for online play.”
Cobler assured fans that “Last Epoch is here to stay,” and that they can “expect updat…
Speaking with Game File (users will encounter a paywall) at the Game Developers Choice Awards, Larian director of publishing Michael Douse gave his take on the current state of the industry, including some sharp criticism on the wave after wave of mass layoffs we’ve been seeing.
“They are an avoidable fuck-up,” Douse said. “That’s all they really are. That’s why you see one after the other. Because companies are going: ‘Well, finally. Now we can, too. We’ve wanted to do it for ages. Everyone else is. So why don’t we?’ That’s really kind of sick.”
Though Douse allowed that big publishers are complicated operations that can’t react quickly to new demands or market changes, he argued that better planning and leadership could have prevented the worst of what we’re seeing, and expressed frustration with how the industry continues with its business as usual in glitzy events like the GDC Awards or BAFTAs: “We should be humbled by this period. It doesn’t feel like we’re humbled …
A new trailer for upcoming gunpowder and magic action RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has debuted at this year’s PC Gaming Show. It shows protagonist Nor and tricky spirit Enki at work dismembering the undead and other servants of the vicious gods with axes, pistols, bombs, and magical spells. The biggest news is that Flintlock launches later this summer and that a demo will be out during the upcoming Steam Next Fest that’s running from June 10-14.
The new trailer shows blasted landscapes we’re familiar with from previous Flintlock trailers reminiscent of Napoleonic battlefields with trenches, wattle walls, and shell impacts. It also shows some environments we haven’t seen too much of yet, like monster-haunted interiors of ancient temples, colorfully vibrant desert river canyons with lush greenery and ancient ruins, and some very lived-in looking towns of whitewashed walls and red tile roofs.
There’s also plenty of Flintlock’s faster-paced combat on show here. No…
It’s official, the iPhone has gone full Nvidia. Apple rolled out the new iPhone 15 Pro yesterday and announced that it has adopted DLSS and ray tracing. OK, not actual DLSS. But Apple’s smartphone now supports upscaling and hardware accelerated ray tracing, which is an awfully Nvidia-ish GPU feature set.
Specifically, the new A17 Pro SoC has what Apple claims is the biggest GPU redesign in the company’s history with a heavily revised shader architecture and that hardware ray tracing support.
In the iPhone the GPU count is bumped from five to six and Apple claims 20% more performance. As for the upscaling, that’s enabled by using the A17 Pro’s Neural engine in parallel to the GPU. That’s an approach that looks very similar on paper to Nvidia GPUs doing DLSS upscaling with help from their AI-accelerating Tensor cores.
Who cares, you might well ask? After all, who among we PC gamers takes iPhone gaming seriously? An astute point, but there is an at least somewhat intr…
Starfield game director Todd Howard continues to make the rounds in advance of Starfield’s September release, giving us a little more insight into just what the sci-fi epic is going to be when it finally comes out. Turns out that it’s going to be pretty lonely, apparently: Howard says that “about 10 percent” of the game’s 1000+ planets will have life on them as Bethesda tries to capture “the magnificent desolation” of the universe.
Howard was chatting Starfield in today’s episode of the Kinda Funny Xcast when the question of the game’s many, many procgen planets came up. Asked about how much handcrafted content there would be on those planets, and whether there would really be much for players to do, Howard answered, “there’s no way we’re going to go and handcraft an entire planet”.
Instead, Bethesda handcrafts “individual locations and some of those are placed specifically,” meaning stuff like cities and locations associated with quests, “and then we have a suite …
World of Warcraft’s Seeds of Renewal patch is out: adding worldwide dragonriding, the reclamation of Gilneas, follower dungeons, and an altogether surprising amount of meat for an interval patch.
Included in the update was a cheesy—though warranted—little scene where the dragon aspects congratulate you for your part in knocking over all their raid bosses for them, with Vyranoth’s proto-dragon form (pictured left below) kinda making her look like an intern that stumbled into the wrong meeting.
“We proclaim you: Champion of the Dragonflights!” announces the life-binder Alexstrasa to a swelling chorus of music. Your character raises their weapon to the air surrounded by a fleet of drakes, it’s all very cute.
Only, some players noticed something was wrong—you never actually get the title. For the uninitiated, WoW has a ‘title’ system that’s become all-but standard for MMORPGs these days, giving you something to slap next to your name for bragging righ…
Ten years later the fantastic job that Crystal Dynamics’ did with its 2013 Tomb Raider reboot has become even more apparent to me. The mature, 18-rated game took the campy, bright and cartoonish Lara Croft of earlier games and, instead, delivered a dark, hyper violent and at times gripping coming of age origin story with a strong female protagonist.
View Tomb Raider on Steam
Yes, there’s absolutely no doubting that this game, as well as its sequels Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, owed a lot to the excellent Uncharted series of games, but Crystal Dynamics delivered an action adventure platformer with a markedly different tone, protagonist and cast of supporting characters. It was a hit.
Fast forward and that hit Tomb Raider reboot is now $2.99/£2.49 at Steam, and after picking it up myself, I thought I would bring it to the PC Gamer community’s attention, as I think it’s a great PC gaming experienc…
Here at PC Gamer I review a bunch of peripherals and hardware all designed to make PC gaming sing. Peripherals especially have come a long way since the early days. There’s countless brands out there all pushing their own ideas, which is why it’s odd to me that most peripherals still come in the same boring combination of colours and styles. Those of us wanting more colourful accessories often have to rely on RGB lighting to get us through, but sometimes themed releases have our backs.
A perfect example is the Destiny 2 Lightfall SteelSeries collection. Not being a Destiny 2 player, I was caught unaware by this beautiful set of peripherals, which fade from purple, through pink to a yellow highlight. Through the gradient are lovely white detailed swirls. The designs are inspired by Destiny 2’s megacity of Neomuna on the planet Neptune. That doesn’t mean much to me, and I still want these very badly.
The SteelSeries range includes a headset, mouse, and RGB-lit mouse pad th…
